Modernized 1967 Corvette Stingray Stays True, Looks Clean

Now, Marouane Bembli, the digital artist behind this job (you might know him as The Sketch Monkey) has decided to avoid the scenario in which this 60s icon looks like it spend too much time in a SEMA booth.

As such, the pixel master set out to emphasize the original lines of the Chevy, while treading carefully when it came to adding the fresh touches.

For instance, the gear head steered clear of removing the classic bumpers of the vehicle. Even so, the went for the chrome delete treatment.

And yes, the reflection on the floor is untouched, since the gear head wanted to use this in order to emphasize the changes he made to the slab of America.

Frankly, the kind of restrained approach that defines this C3 Chevrolet Corvette can be extremely difficult to find, which is why this virtual project deserves a round of applause.

Now, some of you might be curious to check out some of the artist's other work. Well, this Lamborghini Countach, which was also given an update, should do the trick.

Since I mentioned the SEMA show, keep in mind that the Vegas venue kicks off in one month from now and who knows what insane contraptions we'll get to meet this year?
