Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams’ Engagement Shoot Features Vintage Porsche

Cars are a means of transportation, but they’re also more than that. They are often used to show status and wealth, but are also used as props on different occasions, like photo shoots, weddings, or a casual pic for the ‘Gram. For example, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams used a vintage Porsche for their engagement pictures.

Former Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland and her fiancé, former The Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams, will be tying the knot shortly. Ahead of the wedding, the two shared some of their engagement pictures. Hyland, who played Hailey for eleven seasons of the ABC sitcom, wore a tight, white dress, and Adams, a black suit and a gray one. But, while the two looked gorgeous together, something else completely stole the show: the vintage convertible they used as a prop.

The car in question is a Porsche 356 Roadster. The 356 line represented Porsche’s first production automobile, and it’s the pre-pre-predecessor of the 911, created by Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche, the son of the brand’s founder. There were 76,313 units produced from 1948 to 1965, including all models and body styles.

And it looked absolutely perfect for Sarah and Wells’ engagement photoshoot. The reality star captioned the set of pictures, “Cologne Ad or Engagement Shoot? You decide.”

In the comments, people couldn’t stop commenting on the beautiful convertible, and Wells also jokingly commented, “I’m proof positive that anyone can look cool in an old Porsche.” When a follower asked whether this is his new car, Adams replied: “it could be. Can I borrow around 350k?

The Lipstick Jungle actress started dating the former Bachelorette contestant in October 2017 and they got engaged in July 2019. They were supposed to tie the knot in August 2020, but the event had to be put on hold due to the pandemic. The wedding date is getting closer, although neither party shared what it is yet.
