When it comes to restomods, there’s plenty of fish in the sea, as countless tuning specialists build and offer classic musclecars with modern technology and updates parts.
Mo’ Muscle Cars is one of them and, as we’ve seen back in June when their two-tone 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS was showcased, they’re very good at turning almost 50-year-old vehicles into dream cruises. This month, the Texas-based company released a video of their latest project, a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang that churns no less than 820 HP and wears a stunning paint job.
In fact, looking at this car’s modification list makes us realize it’s no longer a 1965 model year, but a 21st century pony in a classic suit. It has a full modern powertrain that includes a modified 2007 Shelby GT500 5.4-liter V8 engine with a Kenne Bell “Mammoth” supercharger on top. What more could you want?
Other updates include an overdrive transmission, Sean Hyland front suspension, Control Freak IRS, hand-built custom steel dash, hand-built exhaust, fiberglass console, Boze Alloy bespoke wheels and many more.
