If the shape of the Mitsubishi Mirage you see in the photo gallery looks like a concept you remember from a while back, that’s because this is a production form of the automaker’s Global Small Concept that they presented at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show back in March.
It’s meant to be a low-cost five-seater hatchback that offers decent quality and good fuel efficiency. The Mirage will be sold with a choice of 1.0-liter or 1.2-liter petrol burners that will get the latest regenerative braking, start-stop and fuel saving CVT technologies.
It looks like it will be built in Thailand and sold across the world, but we are really worried that the styling is a bit too boring to sell in the competitive European supermini market.
