Mitsubishi UK Introducing the Lancer 1.5 Juro

Mitsubishi’s UK division is introducing a new special edition model, the Lancer 1.5 Juro. The vehicle is based on the Lancer 1.5 GS2 (sportback, petrol) and brings multiple extra features.

Some of the most important goodies are the black leather upholstery, which offers a luxury feeling and the Kenwood integrated satnav system that also comes with a reversing camera. The system also includes a Parrot Bluetooth and an iPod connection, as well as a steering wheel control interface.

Here is the full list of features offered by the Lancer Juro:

• Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Reversing Camera, i-Pod connection lead
• 16" Alloy wheels
• Climate Control
• Leather Steering wheel with audio controls
• Electric windows
• Front, Side, Curtain & Knee airbags
• CAT 1 Alarm/immobiliser
• Electric & Heated door mirrors
• Colour keyed rear spoiler.

Customers can order the vehicle in one of the five available colors, with the list including Cool Silver, Stone Grey, Orient Red, Amethyst Black and Lightening Blue. As for the pricing, this starts at GBP14,749.

"The Lancer body structure is built around Mitsubishi’s next-generation Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) design. It disperses energy loads during side and rear impacts and controls distortion, enhancing occupant protection and also helps to protect the fuel system during a rear impact," a company statement reads.

"The Lancer’s comprehensive safety package includes an advanced dual front airbag Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) with occupant sensors, standard front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags, plus a driver’s knee airbag. This vehicle has a 5 star Euro NCAP safety rating."
