The aging Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun in the UK) is far from getting a fifth-generation redesign, but that doesn’t stop the Japanese SUV to gather orders around the world and especially in the United Kingdom, where Mitsubishi is the fastest growing car brand in 2013.
It’s not like they’re selling vehicles like hot cakes, but Mitsubishi is looking to further boost Shogun sales by introducing a substantial discount of up to £5,000, which cuts the starting price for the short-wheelbase 3.2 DI-DC SG2 version at just £26,199, while the range-topping long-wheelbase SG4 can be had for only £36,799.
Still using the rugged platform introduced back in 1999, the Mitsubishi Shogun can be had either as passenger or commercial vehicles and with short or long-wheelbase configurations. The recently introduced discounts range from £3,900 to £5,000 and can be viewed in our photo gallery section below.
“Shogun has always had a loyal following among customers wanting a rugged, well-equipped, sensibly priced full-sized 4x4 model and now with our announcement on pricing, Shogun is even more affordable. Shogun remains an extremely competitive and capable vehicle for those demanding its extraordinary capabilities.
