We take a break from all the Geneva Motor Show concepts and travel half way across the world, to Thailand. Mitsubishi has officially announced this concept called the G4 Compact Sedan will make its official debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show later this month.
This single teaser sketch tells us very little at first glance, the front end being totally unfamiliar in terms of styling. But considering what models are actually built in Thailand, this can only be a compact sedan based on the Mirage platform.

When we say compact sedan, we mean that by Asian market standard, as the G4 is probably no bigger than a Renault Symbol or Chevy Sonic.

Our biggest clue as to what the G4 previews came from the only technical info provided by the automaker. Powering this concept is a 78 PS and 100 Nm 1.2-liter engine, which sounds like the same 3A92 three-cylinder MIVEC as in the Mirage hatch.

Design-wise, the G4 is different from the miring in that it has a larger upper grille and an array of LED lights. Since this is the only teaser sketch, we know nothing about the rear, though Mitsubishi does say the car has a "tail end which leaves a sharp impression as it drives off into the distance".
