The Mitsubishi Evo X is not the automotive legend it used to be. The world has gone soft and no longer needs amazing rally cars for the road. But we still think the Evo is still as cool as having spiky hair and listening to dubstep. OK, that's a bad example, but you get what we're saying.
Capable of sideways action and being styled after baseball caps and snickers, the Evo X still deserves to be a cult car. This is especially true of the 311RS limited edition which is scheduled to make its doubt at the upcoming Minneapolis Auto Show.
The car was actually honed and developed by Ryan Gates, who says he spent three years on tho car to make it perfect for both track and road use.
Starting with the powertrain, Gates swapped out the Evo's intake, intercooler and exhaust and replaced them with aftermarket ones from AMS. The result of these changes is an output that's been increased to 353 horsepower.
The 311RS also comes with a full body kit, Girodisc brakes and 18-inch custom Rays wheels and some cool livery.
