The year 2014 still has some gas in the tank and a few more auto surprises in store for us, but today we turn our attention to the next one because of the Miss Tuning Calendar 2015, out now and finished with more sexiness than ever.
Starting in January, us car nuts will be able to combine the joys of fast cars with those of hot girls, probably the best cocktail ever invented by man. It's always hard to find the right words for these types of photos. We had a whole speech ready about how the curves of an Alfa Romeo match those on a beautiful supermodel, but it just doesn't work.
For 2015, the organizers of Tuning World Bodensee were less about mad hot hatches and more about being wild and unshackled. Considering bikini girls in mechanic suits are way overdone, they took the beautiful Veronika Klimovits on a flight to Nairobi, where the wild things provided the setting for our calendar. Savannas, beaches, the unique Massai people – Kenya had everything needed to put the 25-year old winner of the Miss Tuning competition under the spotlight.
Where are the cars?
As beautiful as Veronica is, we have a tough time hiding our disappointment with the fact that there just aren't enough cool cars. Our favorite has to be that classic Porsche 911 rally car, followed closely by the red Fiat 124. But the safari vehicles just don't do it for us.
Veronika Klimovits is a part-time model from Berlin who's studying naturopathy. Her passions are art and photography, and when she gets a quiet moment, she also creates her own artwork. To top it all off, she drives a 220 horsepower tuned Mercedes.
She was declared the winner of the Tuning World Bodensee on Sunday, May 4, after triumphing over 20 other contestants during the beauty contest finale. Besides a number of VIP events, Veronika will also enjoy a beautifully customized Skoda Rapid Spaceback as her official vehicle during the next year.
