Mirco Sapio Design Custom Headlight Adds Infinite Evil to Any Bike

If anything, modern naked sporty bikes look very evil, but certain custom add-ons can make things even better. Obviously, the evil attire is a matter of personal preference, but why would anyone buy a naked sporty if he or she is not a fan of merciless edgy looks? While this is a discussion which might take forever, let’s jump to the real star of this article: Mirco Sapio’s new headlight design, an aftermarket piece which looks smoking hot on a lot of bikes.

It’s hard to tell which is cooler, the headlight itself or the fact that it can be installed on more than one model. Mirco Sapio demonstrated the MSD Headlight on a KTM 1290 Super Duke R, but the renderings also show how well it looks on other machines, such as Kawasaki, BMW, Ducati and even Bimota.

All hail neat design and the carbon fiber

The first prototype has already been manufactured in carbon fiber and fitted to the 1290 Super Duke R. For some reason, the MSD Headlight integrates with the KTM lines better than it fits on the BMW R nineT or other bikes. Most likely, this is happening because Mirco Sapio used the Super Duke R as the starting ground for the generic lines of the add-on, and the Mattighofen DNA cannot be eliminated. Plus, Mirco Sapio has already envisaged a mind-blowing Super Duke R

Anyway, the carbon headlight casing looks just perfect on the Z1000 and the new Ducati Monster, too, and we can almost bet that other naked machines could receive such an upgrade with equal grace. There is no word on the price of the headlight, but in case it will be affordable, we might just see it in the aftermarket stores this year.

It’s really nice to see Italian designers transforming some of their virtual creations in real life objects. Don’t know who else does this? How about the stunning Ducati Monster body kits by Paolo Tesio?
