Few colors allow the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS to stand out like Mint Green and with a supercar packing this kind of aggressive styling, such a feat shouldn't be taken lightly.
The Rennsport Neunelfer we have here has been recently delivered in Omaha, Nebraska, even though the process isn't over yet. Allow us to explain.
The owner of the car went for an all-out spec, one that includes the scale-friendly Weissach Package and magnesium wheels. Nevertheless, as we explained earlier this year, a delay caused by the supplier of the wheels means Porsche can't offer the cars in the requested spec. Instead, the carmaker offers a complimentary set of "standard" wheels in the desired finish, with the magnesium units set to land at a later time.
And since we're talking optional extras, we also have to mention the carbon-ceramic brakes and the all-LED headlights of the car, which come with black inner graphics.
As for the interior of the machine, this holds a pair of full bucket seats, along with deviated stitching in Racing Yellow. In fact, even the 12 o'clock market of the steering wheel comes in the said shade of yellow.
Now, as those of you who are tuned into our Neunelfer tales might remember, this isn't the first Mint Green 991.2 GT2 RS we get to feature.
That title goes to a Zuffenhausen-spotted example, which managed to shine even brighter than the one we have here. No, we're not talking about polishing. Instead, we're referring to the black brake calipers of the thing.
As Porscheplies know, this CCX option isn't available to us mortals. Of course, this means the said car is owned by somebody in the Piech or Porsche families.
Even so, you shouldn't mistake the thing for Ferdinand Piech's examples of the 2RS, since we had previously featured that car.
