Are there any Porschephiles out there who would rather have the 718 Spyder (the Boxster part of the name has been eliminated) than the 718 Cayman GT4? Of course there are: the customers who actually adorn their garages with the open-top special.
Well, those gear heads might be having a hard time these days. Until recently, they lived in peace, believing that Zuffenhausen finally made things even, as the 718 generation means the Spyder now has the same 420 hp output as the GT4, while also sharing the 911 GT3 front axle (neither of the two was true for the original Spyder and GT4).
However, with spyshots of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS having now emerged (the prototypes will morph into a production car next year), it's not likely that the roadster will receive similar treatment.
As such, I've decided to come to the rescue of those who prefer the wing in their hair. So, without further ado, here's a Porsche 718 Spyder in Mint Green - just stare at the screen endlessly, that's fine, I did the same.
