MINI to Launch New Child Seats at Frankfurt

It seems like the biggest news coming from the MINI stand at the 2013 IAA will be more related to accessories rather than new models or engines. After announcing the launch of new retrofit xenon lamps and LED DRL devices, the company will also launch a new accessory for all the parents out there.

The new MINI child seats are specially designed to look awesome inside your car whilst also keeping your kid safe and sound. The range of seats is comprised of 3 models that will make sure to fit kids from 0 to 12 years old.

The names of the 3 models are MINI Baby Seat 0+, MINI Junior Seat 1 (both of them coming with a complete ISOFIX attachment system) and MINI Junior Seat 2/3. The latter has connectors for the ISOFIX anchorage point since it is a bit bigger.

All 3 variants have innovative air pads on the sides to protect their occupants from lateral forces. As for the colors available, you can take your pick from Vivid Green and a more traditional, Union Jack motif.
