If you’re a married arab millionaire, you can’t possibly let your many mistresses drive matching cars to the one you got your wife because that would draw too much attention. But you can’t let them be seen in a Dacia Duster because that’s beneath you. So what’s a good, relatively cheap car that looks good because it has plenty of chrome and woman want to buy? How about a MINI!
Of course, we’re only joking of course, because MINI is a reputable brand that hasn’t done any major mistake since it unveiled the Clubman. But there’s a serious point to all our jokes, as we have to report that MINI has opened a new showroom dealer in Jordan, which is supposed to bring a boost to their presence in this growth-intensive economic region. In 2011, MINI posted a 77 per cent increase in sales in the Middle East.

Worldwide, the British premium carmaker is now represented in more than 100 countries. The latest one, in Jordan, is open in the center of their capital Amman, in collaboration with a local dealer that already sells BMWs.

The model range available there will include all the cars built by the British brand, including the new Coupe and Roadster.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
