In the wake of seeing the new MINI Cooper S head on to a dealership close to you, the guys from Oxford decided to reveal what they call the John Cooper Works Concept or what we call the next JCW MINI.
As expected, the most hardcore version of the Mk3 model has an even more aggressive design, enhanced by the red stripes all over the car, the new front bumper that has massive air intakes and the hood scoop, beautifully emphasized by the choice of colors.

Talking about the paint job, the name of the new color is Bright Highways Grey (according to the British) with the same motif being used for the new 18” wheels too. The front grille has a black surround,  whilst the rear bumper features new air breathers with red accents.

Of course John Cooper Works badges go all around, as usual, even on the carbon fibre exhaust tips that look absolutely glorious.

With the new Cooper BMW is also launching a new set of engines, destined to take over where the famous 1.6-liter 4-pot units left off. Since the Cooper S has a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine with 192 HP under the bonnet, expect the JCW model to have the same configuration with even more power, somewhere around 220-230 HP.

The concept will be presented at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, in January.
