In case you’ve ever imagined BMW’s Angel Eyes migrating to the MINI brand, now you have the chance to see this in real, official life. MINI has just introduced a set of daytime running lights that look similar to Angel Eyes.
The DRLs, which use LED technology, are mounted in the fog light housing, replacing the latter, as you can see in the adjacent image. Gifting your MINI with this feature will thus bring two white, bright light circles in your lower front fascia.
For now, we found the DRLs on minigenuineparts, a British website that claims the installation time for the units is about 1.5 hours. The DRLs are suitable for the entire current MINI line-up, including the R56 hatchback, R55 Clubman, R56 Hatch, R57 Cabrio, R58 Coupe, R59 Roadster, R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman.
As for the pricing, the MINI LED daytime running lights will set you back GBP297 ($452 or EUR350 at the current exchange rates)
