The latest model in the MINI family, the Paceman, is already quite popular amongst the MINI aficionados and everyone wants a taste of it. We just had a quick drive in one and we also like it, especially from the inside.
Whilst some might argue that the Paceman is too blunt and has too many squared off areas, compared to more classical MINIs, like the Cooper One or the Clubman, the Paceman has a great interior and nobody can say otherwise.
Well, we looked at it really careful for around 1 hour, to figure out just what makes it so damn special. After careful debate and intense concentration, it suddenly hit us: the center console looks like Mickey Mouse!
We're not kidding, we're most certain it looks just like one of the most famous mice in the world (right next to Jerry). Just take a look for yourself: the massive center speedo, along with the air vents on top of it, make it look just like the iconic character.
In order to make it more visible, we even made a photo with them side by side for a clear comparison. According to us, it's a definite match, just like the ones found on the Maury Povich show.
So, now that we know how the Paceman manages to win us over, we can become immune to its charms. Yeah, in theory. However, in real life, we love the Paceman and we'll share our feelings about it in a couple of days.
