The launches done by MINI lately brought the number of models in the British company's back yard to a total of seven. That means that everything in MINI's history has to be updated, including the JCW editions.

The John Cooper Works edition MINIs are special cars almost in the same way M BMWs are for the Bavarian manufacturer. They are named in honor of John Cooper, the person who created the MINI brand and its legacy. The company was founded by his son, Michael Cooper in 2000 with this goal: to create special, almost rally spec, MINI cars.

The endeavor was successful and Michael Cooper sure made his father proud when BMW decided to buy the name and create a special line of MINIs the same way it produces a special line of M cars.

This new product from MINI is an updated eBook that presents an extended history of the JCW MINI models along with data, facts and pictures showing the brand's seventh model, the Paceman. Also, the recent win in the Dakar Rally had to be celebrated and is included in the eBook 2.0.
