Trying to further boost the sales of the brand new Mk3 MINI range, the British company decided to launch a new pack for its potential customers, one that offers more bang for the buck. The so-called MINI Sport Pack is an attractive offer if you look at what you’re getting.
According to the Oxford-based company, customers willing to buy the Sport Pack will be getting all the contents included in the Chili Pack (that proved to be extremely popular) and extra features.
They include things like cloth/leather Diamond upholstery (that really looks the part), a multi-function JCW steering wheel, bonnet stripes (in whichever color you choose), the sport suspension, 17” wheels, JCW roof spoiler and the aerodynamic kit, Piano Black trims and MINI driving modes along others.
Basically, just add this pack to your configuration and you won’t be needing much more. Of course, decking your car with such optional features will also increase the value of your ride when you decide to part ways with it.
The Sport Pack will be available on every model but you should know that the MINI One and MINI One D versions will not be getting the sport suspension.
Finally, you might be interested to learn about the price this kit will have. Well, it will depend on the model you want to deck it with. Since the Cooper S model comes with plenty of these as standard, the 192 HP car will need just GBP3,300 extra for all these goodies. For cars that are lower in the trophic chain, the costs will go up.
On the One and One D models you’ll have to pony up GBP4,500, for the Cooper and Cooper D it will be GBP4,300 while for the Cooper S and SD we already told you it’s going to be GBP3,300 more.
At the moment, the Sport Pack will only be available in the UK but if it turns out to be successful, other countries might get it as well.
