The MINI JCW GP is not a new car on the market. We even saw it racing a twice as big E60 M5 on the street of Russia and boy oh boy, were we impressed.

This time, we're looking at just how fast it reaches 220 km/h (137 mph) through the camera lens of the guys from Magazine Motorsport. They took one of this babies on a track to get to know exactly how good that go-kart feel actually is.

Now, we're here to enjoy their work and listen to that small but potent engine. The 1.6-liter unit under the bonnet is turbocharged and has 218 HP and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque sent over to the front wheels through a manual 6-speed gearbox.

What makes this car even more special is the exterior and interior design as well as the limited 2000-units production that has been announced for the 2013 model.
