If you own a BMW and want to take it beyond what the engineers wanted for it, it’s easy enough to find a tuner that will do that for you, even in a couple of hours, since most parts can be found on stock right now. That’s how popular Bimmer tuning became lately.
However, when it comes to MINIs, things are a bit different. Apart from the in-house high-performance department, John Cooper Works, few tuners get too deep into upgrading them. It’s not because it’s impossible but more likely because they are brilliant, fun cars to begin with.

Krumm Motors is one of the companies that had the courage to take a look at what could be done to a MINI and their work was brought to the Essen Motor Show 2013 to be presented to the world. Their R56 MINI has 220HP, 1,150 kg (2,535 lbs), a new air intake, custom exhaust and a race catalyst, all of them there to enhance your experience.
