We already told you that MINI wants its Cooper S to be more competitive in the supermini segment, allowing it to reach 211 HP thanks to a JCW kit. However, that’s not all the news the company is bringing to the Essen Motor Show this year. They are also unveiling three new JCW design lines.
Called John Cooper Works Pro, Vivid Green and Speedwell Blue, the new design lines allow customers to differentiate their cars from the rest through style and a new sporty approach. The JCW Pro has a more sporty approach, while the Vivid Green line wants to be shiny and funky and the Speedwell Blue takes a classy, elegant approach.
At the Essen Motor Show, the 3-door Hardtop on display will be featuring the Pro design line parts that are completely new to the range, parts line the new rear bumper and rear diffuser with new splitters and air breathers included in the sides of the car.
Other new parts include new mirror covers, fresh designs for the side turn signals on the front fenders, Black Line decorative rings for headlamps and rear lights, the roof flag and the side decor set with a flag motif and the start number 37, famous for the brand in the World Rally Championship.
Inside, the cabin can be decorated with new door sills that have LED lighting, JCW floor mats and JCW Pro sunblind for the rear side windows and rear window. You can even ‘tune’ your key cap and key ring.
Inside the same illuminated door sills welcome you while the rear view mirror, textile floor mats, sunblind elements are all sharing in the same combination. Part of the Vivid Green design line, you can also have a custom child seat installed in the back, that is available in three different versions to be adapted to the child’s height perfectly.
The MINI stand will also include a big selection of other custom parts, from the MINI Original Accessories program. They will include plenty of alloy rims, exterior mirror caps and roof graphics, new headlamps as well as even model-specific holders and adapters for smartphones and music players.
