Since the holidays are quickly approaching, I thought I’d look for something special cars can do, to make everyone’s end of the year more pleasant and beautiful. As it turns out, MINI set a world record last year, approved by Guinness World Records, for the longest wish list ever delivered to Santa Claus.
The guys from MINI embarked on an ambitious trip last year, to deliver 75,954 wishes to Santa, adding up to a list that is 3,798.5 meters long. Not only the list was delivered to Santa’s Post Office in Rovaniemi, but it was written on a special type of paper that has minimal impact on the environment.
On its way, the MINI caravan, made up of 8 MINIs, travelled from one end of Europe to the other, on its way to the Arctic Circle, gathering wishes from all kinds of people along the way. People from a total of 16 countries sent their wishes this way, countries like: Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Russia, United States of America and Singapore.
Let’s hope Santa has time to read them all!
