Introducing a completely new model isn’t as easy as it might seem at first, especially if your clientele is made up of people that care more about style and a certain kind of lifestyle than technical details.
At least that’s what MINI USA thinks judging by its latest video, in which ex Top Gear co-host, Adrian Simpson explains the exactly how the new model is more efficient and eco friendly than the one it replaces, using easy to understand terms and what we call ‘noob lingo’.
In this clip, the term ‘efficiency’ is used to its farthest extents, relating not just to sipping as little fuel as possible but also to using the car to its maximum potential at all times, both in and out of the city, in tight spots and narrow streets.
The 10 MINI Final Test Test Drive finalists were also asked about the efficiency of the car and their responses covered different areas. Some love that the despite the fact that the car has a compact size you get plenty of space inside while others emphasized the superior handling inside metropolitan areas compared to other vehicles.
To be more exact, you should know that now, MINI has 3 driving modes available: Green, Mid and Sport. Each has a different setup for the engine, transmission and suspension, depending on your needs. The former is the most eco-friendly, helping you save fuel and reducing CO2 emissions.
That’s not all though. The MINI ConnectedDrive system also has a Minimalism Analyzer that reads your driving behavior and then makes suggestions in order to further increase efficiency. You check all of these features out in the video below.
