Part of its launch campaign for the new MINI Hardtop, the MINI USA people decided to get ex Top-Gear co-host Adrian Simpson to explain the car to the wide audience.
Now, we know what you might be thinking: who needs a car explained? We agree that most of the cars these days are pretty much self-explanatory but sometimes, pointing out a couple of details could make all the difference in the world.
We got to drive the new MINI for a couple of days and we’ll tell you all about it in our upcoming test drive but we somehow missed a couple of details, like the pulsating red light around the start button and other little things you’ll get to see in the video.
However, the Brits have put a lot of thought in the interior of the car as well as the exterior, where they tried to keep the MINI DNA intact and make the audience aware of its presence from the get go.
They also make a point of out of explaining the most important exterior styling cues, apart from the headlights and LED DRLs. Throughout the video, you’ll hear that the car can be configured in 10 million ways but we’re not so sure about that number, just as Adrian is. You’ll get what we’re saying after watching the video.
