MINI Coupe JCW Real Life Sound

Are you one of those people who say that they don’t build them like they used to anymore? Well how about this little devil!
The MINI hatchback was already a fun little car when they changed the platform into a coupe. This made the chassis lighter and stiff and that improves... everything. And how’s this for progress: a decade ago, when the first Focus RS was launched, boy racers would kneel and kiss the ground that car ‘walked on’.

Yet the MINI Coupe JCW you see here makes as much power (actually, just 4 hp less) from a smaller engine (1.6L instead of 2.0L turbo), is faster to 62 mph (6.4 instead o 6.7 seconds) and makes a sound worthy of a rally car.

And if you want to have your cult car with a bit on impracticality, the Coupe JCW is too stiff and too aggressive around town.

Do you want one just like this white and red combo spotted in Germany? We do!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
