MINI has announced the U.S. pricing for the Countryman model, as the vehicle is ready to attack the American market.

U.S. Customers will be able to choose between three equipment levels: base, S and ALL4. The last brings the game to a new level as it offer all-wheel-drive.

The entry-level model of the Countryman range can be yours starting from a price of $21,650, while the S model retails for a starting price of $25,250. Customers who choose the all-wheel-drive incarnation of the Countryman will have to be prepared to pay $26,950.

As we are talking about a MINI model, you can expect the list of optional extras to offer multiple goodies that can satisfy the needs of future owners. One of these is the Steptronic automatic gearbox, which will set you back $1,250. Customers can choose between a multitude of packages, such as the Sport pack, which is available in two equipment grades, retailing for $1,000 and $1,250, respectively.

Other examples include the Premium Package, which has a price of $1,750, the Cold Weather Package, which adds $750 to the vehicle’s price, as well as the Convenience package, which comes with a price of $1,250.

The Countryman is a very important vehicle for MINI, as it allows the company to enter a new segment of the market. In addition to that, the car was selected as a base for the brand’s World Rally Championship return. MINI will only have a partial participation in the 2011 WRC season, with the full offensive scheduled for 2012. You can read more about the Countryman WRC by following this link.
