For a bit of extra marketing boost, MINI has teamed up with the warriors of Red Bull Crashed Ice and created a bit of a viral video. We say “a bit” because we have no love for the heavy use of camera shakes and editing, but any MINI on ice should be considered entertaining.
The only other problem we have is they didn’t mention if this is the brand new MINI Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW) or not. As you can tell, the red-on-black color combination is there, and so is the full body kit.
But the bumpers, wings and wheels that make up the JCW model were already available from some very specialized dealers before the car was launched. And the difference in engine note is irrelevant since it’s been edited anyway.
Works or not, this is clearly a turbo model, and it’s the perfect match for the aggressive, slightly brutish hockey player. But we want snowboarders and ramps next time!
