MINI is known around the world for its go-kart feeling and small, chic and premium cars that give you a sense of fulfillment and sheer pleasure when driving down winding roads.
Today's line-up has no less than 7 models and all of them are based in one way or another on the original MINI Cooper. The guys from X-Tomi Design thought about creating a new model, one that would still be within the MINI ground-rules of ergonomics and fun.

Looking at the newest model from the British company, the Paceman, and then glancing out the window, they created a rendering of a Convertible Paceman, just for fun.

We think this would make for a fun car actually. Considering the roof gone and replaced with a retractable piece of fabric, the weight of the car would definitely be considerably lowered, whilst the dynamics should stay almost the same.

Combined with the Cooper S 181 HP 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, this car would be pretty quick around bends. One little problem might appear though. Looking at this design, it would be pretty hard for that roof to be completely automatic but this is a nice attempt anyway. What do you think about it?
