MINI Cooper JCW Coupe 60 Seconds Review

This is the way CarThrottle does car reviews: in 60 seconds. They don't need more than a minute to tell you what's good and what's bad about a car. At first, we were reticent but now we like it.

In today's world, nobody has time to read 20 pages about a car and then decide whether it was a good review or not. Blimey, most of us will forget what we read by the end on the thing and will have to start over to get a sense of what is going on.

That's why these guys' method works. So, the facts: the JCW Cooper Coupe has 211 HP going to the front wheels from the 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the bonnet. It can be hooked up to a manual or automatic transmission and will do 62 mph in 6.4 seconds.

The car is great to drive, entertaining, and has cool features like a reclining spoiler at the back. The ride is a bit stiff but it's still easy to drive and the stiffness is expected from a sports car.

Inside you'll find the usual MINI refinements and plenty of Alcantara, making it a premium car inside and out. Since it's rumored to go out of production, this car could be a collector's item in a few years.
