The guys over at Kelley Blue Book had the privilege to test a MINI Cooper Countryman for a full year. Today they finally revealed their final thoughts on the car.

The Countryman is a fun car. That is the bottom line. It feels, as they said, like "committing to a perpetual partier" it always fun but sometimes you might want to tone it down a little. The car drives excellent and its feel on the road makes you think that you're in a proper rally car.

Even better, the Countryman also has a lot of improvements in terms of practicality over the MINI Cooper. It has more boot space, 4 doors and a lot of bits and pieces that heed to your practicality needs.

Driving the car for around 30,000 km (19,000 miles) the had 0 mechanical issues with the car. The only maintenance undergone was the oil change and some casual addition of windshield wiper fluid, so it's a sturdy car.

They also loved the new all wheel drive system that not only brings you more traction and a better feel of the road but also helps you avoid using up only the front wheel tires.

Overall that car isn't for everyone. It's for young people that like to party and feel alive all the time. If you want maturity and seriousness you should reconsider but if you want to enjoy the sportiness of your car and experience the sheer driving experience all the time, this is the car for you.
