Monday marked the Chinese launch of one of the latest models in the MINI line-up, the MINI Clubman Bond Street Edition. Named after a street in London, famous for its exclusive shops, the new model will definitely be popular in China.
Prices for this version of the Clubman will start at CNY345,000 ($59,547) going all the way up to CNY389,000 ($63,461), aiming directly at the female clientele. The Asian debut of the car was done at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The Bond Street version includes some interesting exclusive options like various paint combinations, the roof and d-pillars being painted in the same color, Bond Street badges and other interesting features.
Clearly, the car is aiming at the people responsible for the shopping lifestyle of China, one that has climbed through the roof recently, along with the average incomes of random Chinese people. In our opinion, it will be a success, no doubt!
