MINI Brings Out the Big Guns at Geneva 2013

The MINI stand in Geneva has a decent number of cars on display. The most interesting fact about these cars is that most of them are JCW editions, a true display of power coming from the British company.

Among the cars MINI put up for display this year, you can see the Dakar Rally Winner MINI ALL4 Racing, the MINI JCW Countryman and the MINI JCW Paceman.

The Dakar Winner, MINI ALL4 Racing car has a 3-liter diesel engine designed in Steyr, Austria especially for endurance races in tough conditions. It has over 300 HP and gets the car up to a top speed of 178 km/h.

The MINI JCW Countryman has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivering 218 HP and 280 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 225 Km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds with a combined fuel consumption of 6.5 l/100 km.

The MINI JCW Paceman has the same turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine but this one has 208 HP and 280 Nm of torque that grants the Paceman the same 225 km/h top speed but a faster acceleration to 100km/h, reaching the benchmark speed in 6.5 seconds.

All of these models are currently available for purchase, excepting the MINI ALL4 Racing of course, which has a limited road-legal version available at the moment, called MINI JCW Countryman All4 Special Edition.
