MINI’s interior and paint division must be plenty strong, because they are rolling out new thread for the leather stitching and a fresh shade of black every day, though we rarely notice. However, we have noticed a couple of special editions created in honor of the London 2012 Olympic Games that begin July 27th.
The two new cars are based on the three-door hatch we all know and love and will be available across the world.

The Bayswater Edition is available with all engine choices except the JCW and comes with an exclusive Kite Blue metallic finish with Midnight Black and Eclipse Grey stripes. The roof and the unique 17-inch rims are both finished in black.

The Baker Street edition can be specified will all but the S and the Works and offers a Rooftop Grey metallic shade (or optionally Pepper White and Midnight Black) with black mirrors, 16-inch alloys and black bonnet stripes.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
