Reported to be the highest price ever paid for a home in Beverly Hills, the jaw-dropping luxury mansion was widely publicized with much celebrity and international buyer interest. Apart from the $70 million price tag, there is another thing that simply blew our mind, which is the living-room-sized garage that looks like Iron Man/Tony Stark’s.
It sort of became famous ever since the tabloids were writing that Jay-Z and Beyonce are planning to buy it which was about a month ago. The luxury Beverly Hills mansion was that popular it only took six days to sell. However, it turns out this fantasy estate was too expensive even for the famous couple, since the buyer was none else than Markus Persson.

Markus who? Persson. You know who, it’s the Swedish video programmer that sold Minecraft’s creator Mojang company for $2.5 billion to Microsoft in September. So what’s the next thing you do when you have that money? You buy Beverly Hills’ most expensive house, of course. But $70 million, really? For what? Well, let’s take a closer look.

First of all, Persson’s purchase included everything in the house from luxury furnishings to exotic electronics such as the automated 54-foot curved glass door in the living room that opens onto an infinity pool with iPad-controlled fountains and spectacular views. Cases of Dom Perignon were part of the deal.

The 23,000 square-foot home comes with an 18-seat tiered screening room, a state-of-the-art kitchen and an exquisite 18-foot onyx dining room table for 24 that includes place settings by Roberto Cavalli at a cost of $3,700 each. Three high-definition 90-inch television screens bring panoramic views of Los Angeles from the roof into the down stairs lounge. Art pieces include a replica of James Dean’s motorcycle and a chromed Ma Deuce machine gun.

But what are we really looking at here? Sure you're ready for it? On a conventional note, the home has 8 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms all equipped with Toto Neorest toilets that each cost $5,600.

It’s kind of difficult for us, normal people to imagine what we’re really looking at, reason why we listed a video with the house taken by Tri-Blend a couple a months ago. There are some million-dollar hypercars and classic collectables seen in the footage which, however, we believe were not included in the price Minecraft’s creator payed. Like we previously mentioned, the garage itself is something out of this world, so you might want to take a closer look.
