Many regard the 1 Series models as descendants of the E30 3 Series due to the perfect balance and short wheelbase of the 1er. The M135i is the pinnacle of the 1 Series, with a 320 HP engine under the bonnet.
The N55 can now breathe easier, thanks to Milltek's new Performance Exhaust System. Developing this system required some creative solutions. The OEM system developed by BMW had a diameter of 80mm but most times, it was squashed in a number of places to allow for better ground clearance.
The engineers from Milltek found that by making the system a bit smaller in diameter (measuring 76mm) the whole circuit could go from front to back without any squashes, improving gas-speeds and therefor performance.
The whole system is made out of 304 grade non-magnetic stainless steel and gives your car a powerful growl under heavy loads and a factory sound at cruising speeds.
