The BMW 1M Coupe was and still is regarded as a brilliant car, a true heir to the E30 M3. However, its 3-liter N54 twin-turbo engine is more than 2 decades more advanced than the car it’s compared to.
That means that the sound is also different and that tends to be a major issue amongst aficionados. Good thing there are plenty of tuners out there making exhaust systems for any car you could possibly imagine.
One such manufacturer is Milltek that fitted the 1M posted below with a Sport Performance exhaust system and then set it off on the Franciacorta International Circuit during the Cars vs Chrono event.
To make sure it handles the track perfectly, the Bimmer was also hooked up with a KW suspension and a proper driver, to say so... What came out of the whole thing you can check out for yourself below.
