Rezvani Tanks are made to stand out, even in the most “basic” configuration. When you’re the owner of the only gold Tank ever made, the extra attention is a given.
So why not put it to good use? Self-made millionaire Kevin Thobias, also known as e-commerce wunderkind, content creator, investor, and marketing specialist (and former military), is the owner of the only golden Rezvani Tank in the world. Called TANK (in all-CAPS, because it positively screams attention), this bulletproof, apocalypse-ready vehicle is now being put to very good use.
Thobias is just as famous for his smart business skills as he is for his unapologetic personality. This often translates into offering himself and his flashy lifestyle as motivation to basically “get off your butt and get to work.” He often posts photos of his gold-wrapped cars, including a Tesla, a Lamborghini and TANK, captioned with words of encouragement for aspiring entrepreneurs.
According to the DuPont Registry, Thobias is also heart, and not just deep pockets. As of late, he’s been driving the TANK to buy and deliver much-needed PPEs to first-responders, offering whatever assistance he can in the ongoing international health crisis. At the same time, he’s using the PA system on the TANK to deliver messages of support to the community in South Florida, urging against hoarding of essential supplies and practicing social distancing.
If there was ever an excellent way to get people’s attention, driving a golden tank, blasting PSAs is probably it.
Thobias also says he packed the TANK with all features offered by Rezvani, because he wanted a vehicle that was as reliable as it was eye-catching. So, the TANK is bulletproof from radiator to rear bumper, has bomb-proof floors, self-sealing fuel tanks, glass that can take a .30-caliber rifle round, reinforced suspension, electromagnetic pulse protection, strobe and blinding lights, siren and horns, gas masks and first-aid kits, and continuous video recording. And that’s just a short list of all the possible options you can choose for one such vehicle.
The bulletproof Rezvani Tank starts at $259,000, and includes the hand-stitched Leather Package, central infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and apps optimized for on and off-road use. Singer Chris Brown bought himself a specced-up version of the Tank in the summer of 2018, for an estimated $350,000. Thobias had his one-off TANK delivered one year later, in the summer of 2019.
