If changing almost everything on a bike when customizing is something which appeals to you, then you should definitely check the motorcycles passing through the hands of the guys at Anvil Motociclette. The Italian workshop produces machines you either hate or love... and we found ourselves among the latter ones.
The Anvil Mille Elr is a no-nonsense road machine: based on a hefty SP 1000 Moto Guzzi, the new beast has been dramatically changed. With the original bike being generally spoken of in terms such as “ugly” or “no, thanks”, the Mille Elr is an awesome proof that we'll see a huge wave of praises if the Anvil guys decide to enter one of their bikes in a moto show.

With the tail of the Mille Elr slim and a minuscule aero hump embedded in the custom seat, the tank seems huge; however, given the racing character, the line of the custom tank is perfectly integrated with the rest of the bike.

Anvil went on and crafted the custom air filters, fender, both lights, seat, pegs and exhaust, painting the engine black, with just minor touches to the frame. The fork itself has been customized to offer a lower position and the legs sticking up through and above the clamps is a thing you don't see everyday.

After entering the Miller Elr in the 2012 Italian Kustom Kulture show at Cesena just for the kicks and winning first place in the Metric contest, we'd say we're expecting some pretty nifty bikes coming up next.
