The Mazda3 MPS is one of the more underrated hot hatches currently available on the market, and while they may not be all that common, those who own and drive them, love them dearly. For the UK market, Mazda have announced the revised pricing information, and now the 3 MPS sits just under the £24,000 mark - £23,995, to be precise.
The car is pretty much unchanged, being powered by the same 2.3-liter turbocharged engine with 256 hp, which transmits its power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. This allows it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.1 seconds, which is on par with the class best.
The 3 MPS gets revised tail lights, and a new gunmetal black finish for the 18-inch alloy wheels, black finish for the inner part of the hatch-mounted spoiler, mirrors and rear bumper trim. Along with the mildly revised 3 MPS, Mazda has added two additional models to the range, called Tamura and Venture, each featuring a unique combination of aesthetic upgrades and kit.
