That's right - the contraption we have here is the kind that should never come to life. Then again, there's no need to fret, since we're not expecting anybody to bring this mashup to life. And while we're bringing you this rendering, we need to mention that the Lamborghini Huracan Performante and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS are more similar than it might seem to an untrained eye.
From the rear wing to the A-pillar, this is a Lamborghini Huracan Performante. But the face of the car comes from the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, with this including the hood, headlights, front wings and front apron - we must thank Carlifestyle for the render.
For one thing, we're looking at two of the fiercest naturally aspirated machines one can find in a showroom today. The 5.2-liter V10 occupying the middle section of the Italian exotic and the 4.0-liter flat-six found at the posterior of the Neunelfer share their atmospheric nature.
Then again, the limited torque delivered by these N/A motors doesn't mean these toys lack anything in terms of performance. And that's because they're both phenomenal handlers.
In fact, the Sant'Agata Bolognese and the Zuffenhausen beasts can play the Nurburgring game in under seven minutes. And while the Rennsport Neunelfer's 6:56.4 lap time is mighty impressive, the 6:52 chronograph number of the Lambo is even more so and that's because it managed to grab a Nurburgring production car lap record before this was stolen by the big brother of the 3RS (you know, the 700 hp world-shattering monster that is the Porsche 911 GT2 RS).
Then there's the fact that both these velocity toys come from the Volkswagen Group. And from reliability-related benefits to the fact that the two share multi-brank showroom areas across the world, there are a lot of aspects that come from this common blood of the two.
