Do you recall the 10.4-liter Chevy pickup truck we introduced you to back in July? The insane piece of machinery that did some awesome wheel stands at the drag strip? You do? Well, forget about it, because there’s a new, meaner and crazy-looking truck in town.
It’s also a Chevy, but a newer S10 that’s motivated by a 9.5-liter V8 with twin 76mm turbochargers. But that’s not the crazy part. This contraption has it’s engine mounted behind the cabin and access to it is provided the old funny car way.
Still a work in progress, the mid-engined Chevrolet truck manages to run the quarter mile in 10 seconds and cross the line at 138 mph (222 km/h), but the owner says it should storm the 402 in the 8s once its up and running at full blast. Until further notice, take a look at the video below.
