With Chevrolet deploying more and more prototypes if the 2020 Corvette across the world, it was only a matter of time until the Internet decided to come up with a rendering of the supercar. Well, here we are, bringing you a render of the mid-engined 'Vette.
Yes, this pixel play isn't fully riped, but the social media label behind the render, namely J.B. Cars, did a pretty good job. Keep in mind that the rendering is based on the tons of spy material that has surfaced lately. Speaking of which, here's a mid-engined Corvette doing its thing on the Nurburgring.

The rumor mill talks about the C8 Corvette packing three engine ptions. The base model is expected to be animated by a naturally aspirated V8, which could be an evolution of the LT1 motor that's currently animating the C7 Corvette Stingray and the sixth-generation Camaro SS.

Nevertheless, the most interesting detail has to be the rumored twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8. Cadillac has recently came up with a similar engine, but the company's CEO has made it clear that the 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 won't be shared with Chevrolet. So we'll just have to wait and see what the golden bowtie comes up with.

As for the wildest rumor out there, this regards a hybrid model being placed at the top of the rage. Sure, that would only add fuel to the fire that is the bunch of comments talking about the next-gen Chevrolet Corvette looking like the Acura NSX.

Then again, GM might just pull such a move, even though we haven't seen any clues of gas-electric power on the prototypes we've spotted so far.

A hybrid powertrain would also boost the price of the Chevy halo car and this would be quite a problem. After all, the whole idea of the Corvette was to bring affordable thrills to the people...

Update:Here's a C8 Corvette prototype sporting a flat-top steering wheel while blitzing the Nurburgring.

I've created my own car! I thought I'd try something completely different and make my own entire design including the wheels..what do you think from step to step, should I make more?! @ #CarDesign #CarRender #Render #Rendering #Edit #CarEdit #MidEngine #Outline #Blueprint #V10 #Concept #ConceptCar #Automotive #CarThrottle #ItsWhiteNoise #Autogespot #217MPH #MPH #AmazingCars247 #Exotic_Cars #FastLane #TopSpeed #AutoCar #CarDesign #DigitalArts #GraphicDesign #1of1 #ExoticCars #Hypercar
