Earlier this month, a little video called "Best Burnout Ever" hit Facebook. The clip, which shows a tire-burning adventure that took place on October 14, has now gone viral and it involves way more than just a Chevy Colorado pulling a monster burnout.
At first, many believed this was an amusing story, or, at least, one whose outcome could be considered funny - just think of all the potential jokes involving this overly civilian pickup truck pulling better burnouts than many muscle cars.

However, upon digging deeper, it seems that the woman behind the wheel was suffering from diabetes and had an extreme hypoglycemia episode with her foot on the gas.

Judging by what we can see in the clip, her Colorado isn't held in place by her having the other foot on the brake, but by the good guy Ford driver in front of her, whose C-Max acts like a massive runway truck stopping device.

With the rear axle free from the burden of the brakes, the tires were being melted at an extreme rate, generating a cloud of smoke that drew the attention of everybody in the area.

Eventually, other Good Samaritans showed up around the unintentional stunt car. And since the doors were locked, one of them resorted to breaking a rear window and finally brought the whole shenanigan to a stop.

As far as we know, nobody was hurt in the incident and, given the location of the driver's unfortunate moment, this could've turned out much, much worse.

In fact, here's a map of the rubber ordeal, with the incident having taken place on Michigan's Jackson Road, in front of the Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor dealership.
