The retired football defensive end spent his entire 14-year career playing for the New York Giants and during his tenure he set a record for the most sacks in a single season in 2011 and won a Super Bowl in his final season in 2007, among several other awards.

After having autoworkers cheering madly when Lions owner Bill Ford begun his speech with “7 and 2 baby!” things took their normal turn. Hours after the main event, reports are Strahan took a tour of the plant and actually got to drive a new F-150 off the line.
It wasn’t only the NFL star to catch fans’ attention, as Cleatus, the Fox Sports robot, was also on the spot. The Dearborn body shop now has more than 500 new robots that help the process of putting together the F-150’s aluminum body, so there was no problem having an extra robot at sight.
In case you’re a fan of Strahan we have some good news for you. Apart from seeing him on the television morning talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael, reports are that on Sunday he will talk about his visit to the plant on the NFL Pre-Game Show, which Ford sponsors.
