Michael Schumacher's 1998 Helmet on Sale for $25,000

The Memorabilia Experience is an online marketplace of sometimes impossible-to-find souvenirs from the motorsports scene. This is where we found one of Michael Schumacher's helmets on sale for $25,000.

Schumacher used this Bell helmet at the 1998 Imola GP at San Marino, when he took second place, following David Coulthard, in his Ferrari F300. The helmet has been signed and race dated on the crown.

The Memorabilia Experience is the largest retail collection of original & replica helmets in the world. The tokens come with matching price tags, with replica helmets selling for $895 - $7,500, half scale replica starting at $235 and up, original F1 helmets selling for $6,000 - $90,000 and original Indy & other helmets going for $2,000 - $25,000.

Here you can find other rare collectibles like a 1974 Emerson Fittipaldi helmet with a relatively small price tag of $19,500, Niki Lauda's 1984 McLaren suit being priced at only $20,000 and Nigel Mansell's Williams helmet from the 1991 season for just $22,500. While for some, these prices might seem pretty high, we can assure you that the value of these rare collectibles is highly underrated.

One item that caught our attention was the 2009 Audemars Piguet Millenary Maserati MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph, which is made of eloxed aluminum and ultra-light carbon and features a partially open worked silver dial, an obvious scratch resistant sapphire, and runs on a manual winding movement with a tourbillon. The timepiece comes from a limited edition of 150 units and is priced at $300,000.

These rare items don't come only with a hefty price, but also ensure the bragging rights to whoever is the lucky owner of a one-off relic from the racing arena. However, we wouldn't have photographed a $25,000 helmet on the floor out of respect for the rarity of the item.
