Michael Mann Drives F12 Berlinetta on Fiorano

American film director Michael Mann recently visited Ferrari in Maranello where he got to experience the awesome F12 Berlinetta around the Fiorano track.
He says he’s got both the 599 GTB and the GTO, but he’s clearly impressed with the replacement.

And why wouldn’t he be? Because the front-engined supercar packs a scarcely believable 740 horsepower. Power comes from a brand new Italian V12 that puts out more than the Lamborghini Aventador. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed that exceeds 211 mph (340 km/h).

If you haven’t heard of Mann’s work, he’s done work on a number of significant movies, both as a director, but also as a writer and producer. Notable titles include Ali and The Last of the Mohicans.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
