MG Rover went down in history as the last fully domestically owned mass-produced car manufacturer in Britain. They went under in 2005 and from the ashes of the burnt phoenix rose a new brand called MG Motor Limited. Its headquarters are found in Birmingham and they are fully owned by the chinese at SAIC Motor.
Even though they say their MG6 is built in Longbridge, the traditional home of the MG, the 300 or so employees stationed there are actually building knock down kits from China.

The Brits are researching their own cars once again, and starting their re-exansion onto the domestic market with the only MG they can sell right now.

A brand new MG dealership has been opened in Britain, stationed in Cambridge and officially opening next Tuesday. The dealership is stationed in Harston on the south western edge of the city and run by Buckingham & Stanley.

“To be honest the MG6 has such good traction that we could tow Santa in if it does snow. But I’ll keep my snowboard waxed just in case.” said senior sales executive Darren Rayner.

Andrew Ballard, Operations Director of Cambridge MG, said: “We’ve been very impressed with everything we’ve seen at MG Birmingham and the MG6 is a great car which will win over a lot of people. We have represented Saab for more than 30 years and I think the new MG’s will certainly appeal to Saab drivers too.”
“To be associated with such an iconic brand as MG is really exciting and our team is looking forward to offering our new MG service to customers,” Ballard added.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
