Last week we were telling you about the final of one of the most prestigious amateur golf tournaments in the world taking place for the 24th time in Stuttgart.
No less than 33 teams, each made up of three players from all over the world participated in the event which took place from September 26 and October 1st, but only one of them could be declared the winner.
South Africa won with a total of 189 points against the team from the United Kingdom, who also had 189 points but took second place after a Sudden Death session. Third place went to Mexico with 188 points.

The highest individual points score in the world final was achieved by Jonas Madsen from Denmark with 72 points, who also won Class A with 75 points.
