Besides the amazing halos, the adjusting headlights and the overall change in design, Mercedes has also added a belt of LED daytime running lights to the top in a waving pattern. It’s getting increasingly difficult to explain modern design, and we think it’s much better just to check out the video below.
What we can explain are the changes we believe are coming to the E-Class in other departments.
The engine range will most likely include the 3.5-liter V6 for the E350 and the 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 for the E500/E550. As for the E63 AMG, the engine in that monster should continue to remain the same. Mercedes reportedly has a turbocharged 3-liter V6 with 333 hp, which they will introduce to the new C-Class, and maybe even the E-Class.
For the first time, the E63 AMG, this will likely also be available as an all-wheel drive model for the first time in the company’s history.
Judging by the timing of this trailer, the E-Class facelift should drop by the Detroit Auto Show in January.
